Odemira: Detained for domestic violence. Was released.
The Territorial Command Beja, through the Research and Support Center for Specific Victims (NIAVE) Beja, on 22 July, detained a man 51 years for domestic violence, in Odemira.
Odemira: According to the INE, is the municipality with the lowest net income per person.
It is the largest municipality in Portugal, a total of 1 720 kms/2 and also one of the few in the interior whose population grew between 2011/2021, more 13,3%, having a total of 29 538 population, but Odemira is also the only one in which the median value of net income per person has dropped in 2023, compared to the previous year.
