Today marks the “European Day to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings”, a day created by the European Union in 2007, with the aim of raising awareness among political decision-makers and civil society to implement policies in the fight against trafficking in human beings, reinforcing the need to ensure cooperation between States in the development and sharing of knowledge and information.
