Mértola: Municipality distinguished by the implementation of the National Program for the Surveillance of Blue Flag.

The Municipality of Mértola was awarded the European Blue Flag Association, the collaboration in the implementation of the National Program for the Surveillance of Blue Flag 2015 (PNVBA) the river beach of Tapada Grande, na Mina de S. Sundays.
