The European Union is committed to implementing the Cyber-Resilience Regulation, a new tool that will require all products placed on the EU market to be cybersecure.

With this regulation, hardware and software manufacturers will have to apply cybersecurity measures throughout the entire lifecycle of products after they are placed on the market. Manufacturers will be legally obligated to provide users with timely security updates for several years after purchase.
Through these measures, the new legislative act will oblige manufacturers to be more transparent and responsible regarding the safety of their products, which will allow users to make more informed and safer choices.
We are waiting for the Cyber-Resilience Regulation to come into force.
During the year 2023 Kaspersky's detection systems identified almost 125 millions of malicious files. Average, were discovered 411.000 malicious files every day. The value represents an increase of almost 3% compared to the previous year.
