According to data advanced by Atlas VPN, based on a NetBlocks tool, the economic impact of a single day without internet access globally would be 43 billion.
Altogether, the impact on the United States and China accounts for almost half of the total, hanging around the 21 billion.
Atlas VPN experts say that a failure of this magnitude in global Internet access would cause disruptions in several sectors, leading to the paralysis of multiple economic activities.
According to the Password Health Score, through data collected by Dashlane, specialist in password management and digital identity, average, password security has improved by almost two points in all regions of the world, but they all continue to fall into the “needs improvement” category, by adding scores between 60 and 90.
The Southern European region, where Portugal is located, remains one of the worst classified in this ranking, with an average score of 73.5, which only allows you to reach 10th position, in 14.
The region that includes Portugal also stands out negatively in the study, due to the fact that half of the passwords chosen by users are reused. It is also verified that 14% of these passwords are compromised.
