Telechronics (Ademar Days of opinion): changes in the use of applications and Nipponese tops on consoles.
According to a study conducted by researchers from SimilarWeb (an information technology company) users are getting fed up Facebook and Instagram, so are exchanging these social networks by more private apps like Whatsapp and Telegram.
The SimilarWeb analyzed the time spent in four applications: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter e Snapchat.
The conclusion is that Instagram was that signaled a major fall, almost 24%, followed by Twitter, who fell 23%. The Snapchat lost 16% of its overall utilization and Facebook 8%.
If Twitter was the app where users spent less time, the average time spent on Facebook was 34 minutes and not Instagram 17 minutes.
The reasons for the decrease are several. First, the emergence of dozens of other apps, such as Periscope and Telegram, competing for the attention of users.
Besides, increased popularity of other messaging apps such as Whatsapp, they begin to take the place of social networks.
The study also noted a fall 9% the number of Android phones with the four most popular apps (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter e Snapchat) you installed.
The differences between men and women in social networks again be demonstrated and this time the focus was on the "differences" based on the type of language used.
Men and women tend to express themselves differently when they publish or comment anything on Facebook, concludes the study "Women Are Warmer, But No Less Assertive Than Men”.
The analysis, written by a group of researchers from the University of Melbourne, indicates differences in the choice of words.
It is more common for women to use words or phrases that demonstrate positive emotions such as 'happy' or 'love', degree of relationship as 'friends', 'Family' or 'sister', or intensity-related adverbs.
Already the men bet on more topics related with politics, as 'government' or 'taxes', by issues related to patent sport under 'football', 'Time' and 'win' or specific interests and activities such as firearms, playing musical instruments and video games.
So, the male is more harsh in language used, saying more often blunders, while the female uses terms kinder to express.
The differences also show that there is a strong tendency among men to talk about objects, while women prefer to talk about people and social relations. Example: they say more often 'husband', they say 'woman'.
