A new survey conducted by NordVPN reveals that the Portuguese occupy the third place in the world ranking of knowledge about online privacy and cybersecurity, with a score of 62%.
No National Privacy Test (NPT) Portugal also achieved a high score in the category dedicated to recognizing various online dangers, with 74%. Questions related to online security behaviors and tools are limited to 51%.
The data show that 98% of Portuguese people know how to create strong passwords, 93% know the risks of saving bank card data in browsers. Besides, 92% of Portuguese respondents say they know how to deal with suspicious offers on streaming services and 91% know what type of sensitive information they should not share on social media.
A survey by the British operator Three indicates that 61% of parents consider that the smartphone is the most useful equipment in their children's education. 74% They even say that cell phones have helped them through really difficult moments of parenting and almost half of those who participated in the study even say that they have no idea how people managed to raise their children before smartphones existed..
