Sales slowed down again and the market reduced again. This time the numbers show that the break follows the previous quarter, the worst of this 2014.
Almost all phone brands have lost market share and this is a result of the slowdown in sales, result of several factors and that have been accumulating for several months.
Even so, there are two brands that managed to counteract this scenario and reversed the trend. They are Samsung and Apple.
A new report from the Pew Research Center indicates that more and more people in the US are consuming news through TikTok, with the volume tripling since 2020.
The report reveals that, currently, 10% of all adults above 30 years receives news regularly through TikTok. As for adults below 30 year old, the percentage is 26%.
This growth contrasts with the trajectory of other platforms where news was shared, namely Facebook which downloaded from 54% for the current ones 44%.
TikTok continues to grow and, in addition to serving as an entertainment app with short videos, is increasingly a rival of other platforms, as is the case with the Google search engine.
The Steam platform, yes Valve, crossed the 'barrier' of 30 million users connected to the service simultaneously. The bar was reached last weekend and it shows that the platform remains in good shape, even with the rivalry of the Epic Games Store and its free games.
According to the SteamDB page, of these 30 million players, only 10 million were playing some title and the rest were simply browsing the platform. Bearing in mind that winter is approaching and that this is usually a more favorable time for the use of platforms such as Steam, it is possible that we will see new records to be beaten.
According to the website The Verge, Discord users will be able to use the app to participate in voice chats on PlayStation 5, a functionality that has not yet been announced by the company but of which some clues have already been found.
