Telechronics: a conference, studies, video games and the return of (anti) heroes.


O Portugal Digital Summit will return to 23 and 24 October and Spain is the guest country.

The digital economy conference, promoted by the Digital Economy Association (ACEP), will take place in Lisbon, with a marked space at the Técnico Innovation Center.

The Portugal Digital Summit’24 edition will bring together more than 150 national and international speakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for innovation and digital transformation in the various sectors of the national economy.

This year the theme is “Artificial Intelligence: Economic Growth and the Future of Innovationâ€.

no event, ACEPI will also present the Annual Study of the Digital Economy and Society, which reflects the panorama of e-commerce and the digital transition in Portugal.

Product of the Year, global evaluation system that distinguishes innovative products, carried out a study to understand what consumers are looking for in the future, as well as your expectations for technology.

One of the conclusions of the study, with regards to smartphones, is that 43% of respondents expect that in the future equipment will have greater battery life, while 39% want to see improvements in security. Already 18% look for innovation and want mobile phones to have emerging technologies integrated, as, augmented reality.

Looking at the evolution of applications, 37% of respondents want more integration with smart devices, 34% want more privacy of use and 28% prefer more customization options.

Health and well-being are the areas where technological innovations are believed to have the most impact, with emphasis on the role of artificial intelligence, machine learning and augmented or virtual reality.

A new study about the state of video games in the United States, carried out by Comscore, shows that 82% of players made, at least, a purchase within a video game.

According to the study, 62% of people over 18 years played, at least, a video game. The people between 26 and 41 years of age represent 49% of video game players, while those with less than 22 years represent 13% of players.

More than 77% of people surveyed play on multiple platforms and more than 30% play on a console, PC e mobile.

And now Netflix which announced considerable progress in its video games initiative.

The streaming company has been in the video game market for three years, period in which he launched more than 100 games, currently developing more than 80 additional titles.

And from July, Netflix plans to release approximately one new game per month under the name Netflix Stories. This initiative will include games based on much-loved series, como Emily in Paris e Selling Sunset, with more diversified titles planned in the future. The goal is to provide fans with interesting content between seasons, introducing new characters and stories that can enhance the viewing experience.

And in film it is mandatory to highlight the premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverineâ€, film from Marvel Studios that presents us with the ultimate and iconic cinematic showdown that we have all been waiting for.

But the multiverse is in danger and the Time Variance Authority, an organism that exists outside of time and space, recruit him for a mission. Wilson doesn't want to participate at all, but the one who wants this even less is Wolverine, who is also called to save the day. This merger will have serious consequences for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
