The Local Health Unit of the Lower Alentejo (ULSBA) joins the celebrations of World Suicide Prevention Day and forwards information regarding awareness-raising activities, by the Aris da Plain Association.
The ARIS of the Plains – Association for the Promotion of Mental Health, organizes an awareness-raising activity for World Suicide Prevention Day, a 10 of September, in Beja.
World Suicide Prevention Day is, according to the association, “an opportunity to raise awareness of suicide prevention and to promote the reduction of suicides and suicide attempts”.
ARIS da PlanĂcie marks World Suicide Prevention Day in Beja, this year through an Awareness Campaign with the performance of Cantadores do Desassossego who composed a song on the theme.
The initiative takes place in Jardim do Bacalhau, on 10 of September, Sunday, the 10:30to h 11:30h.
