The Local Health Unit of the Lower Alentejo (ULSBA) joins the celebrations of World Suicide Prevention Day and forwards information regarding awareness-raising activities, by the Aris da Plain Association.
The ARIS of the Plains – Association for the Promotion of Mental Health, organizes an awareness-raising activity for World Suicide Prevention Day, a 10 of September, in Beja.
World Suicide Prevention Day is, according to the association, “an opportunity to raise awareness of suicide prevention and to promote the reduction of suicides and suicide attemptsâ€.
ARIS da PlanÃcie marks World Suicide Prevention Day in Beja, this year through an Awareness Campaign with the performance of Cantadores do Desassossego who composed a song on the theme.
The initiative takes place in Jardim do Bacalhau, on 10 of September, Sunday, the 10:30to h 11:30h.
