The Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit is installing angiography equipment, in the Cardiovascular Intervention Unit (6º Floor) Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes (HJJF). This installation requires constraints limiting the movement of people at various points in the hospital..
This Sunday morning, during cargo movement and material procurement, access to Body A (Entrance Hall) of the José Joaquim Fernandes Hospital will be closed to people, as will the entrance to the Pediatric Emergency Room so that patients, visits and professionals should alternatively use the entrance for external consultations.
There will be restrictions on visits, in order to limit the use of elevators as little as possible to necessary situations, with the exception of hospitalization in the Psychiatry Service, which will maintain its usual visiting regime.
Visits will be restricted to 1 period/day (the 15 am to 17 hours) e a 1 just visit (defined by the patient or, in the incapacity of this, will be the reference companion), there may be particularities of some services, namely Cardiology Service, Internal Medicine Service on the 4th Floor, Pediatric Service, Obstetrics Service.
The Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit calls for collaboration and understanding from everyone, the fact that motivates these constraints will improve our response capacity and represents a qualitative leap for the institution and the population.
