The Board of Directors and the Board of Medical Internships at ULSBA held, a 2 January 2023, the welcome session for the new interns who begin their general training and their specific training at Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes and at ULSBA Health Centers.
No total, They are 10 Internal Physicians and are distributed as follows: · 8 Internal Physicians for Specific Training, in Intensive Care Medicine specialties (2), General surgery (1), Psychiatry (1), Pediatrics (1), Orthopedics (1) and Family Medicine (2). · 2 Medical interns for General Training (former Common Year).
This group of doctors came to join the 33 Hospital Specialty Interns and 13 of General and Family Medicine, currently in training at the Institution. The coming of Internal Physicians for ULSBA is always viewed with great satisfaction, as it promotes the stimulation of Clinical Services and creates the possibility of securing doctors in the region, human resources as needed.
In the initial intervention, the President of the Board of Directors and the Director of the Internship at ULSBA, congratulated the Interns for having chosen the Alentejo, in particular the Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit, for this stage of your training, both in primary health care and in hospital health care.
