A fire in a house in the village of Aljustrel, no Beja district, caused on the morning of this Wednesday five displaced, a couple and three minor children. No injuries to regret, but, the house was without habitability.
For reasons still under investigation, but everything points to a short circuit in a heater, the flames broke out in nº 83 Almeida Garrett Street, They were 09,54 hours, the house having no habitability conditions, having burnt two of the rooms of the house. The prompt intervention of firefighters, whose barracks are just over 500 meters were decisive to prevent the flames from spreading to the rest of the house and to other contiguous.
When the flames broke out the couple was in the room and they were the ones who gave the alert. The man has 39 years and the woman 34 and the children one has 4 years and the other two are twins with 12 years. Because it is a structured family, until housing recovery, the couple and their three children will stay with other family members in the village of Aljustrel,
On site were 9 vehicles and 23 operational bodies of the Fire Departments of Aljustrel, Ferreira do Alentejo and Ourique and GNR and Municipal Civil Protection.
