(Update) Almodovar: Mayor takes responsibilities for councilor PSD.
Antonio Boot, President of the Chamber of Almodovar, elected by the Socialist Party (PS), yesterday withdrew the skills to Alderman Ricardo Colaço, elected by the Social Democratic Party (PSD).
The order takes the skills to one of three councilors of the Opposition, in the case of Ricardo Colaço, elected by the PSD, It was made public yesterday, having António Bota “withdrawn political trust” your councilor,.
Ricardo Colaço had among other responsibilities Civil Protection, having at last Monday marked presence in the Special Device presentation ceremony to Fight Forest Fires (DECIF) held in Beja, with The Secretary of State for Internal Affairs.

It is recalled that the city council of Almodovar has five elected, two PS, Two Independent Movement and a PSD.
In an open letter addressed to almodovarenses, Antonio Boot, It begins by saying that by not getting the majority in the local elections held on 2013 “I opted for an agreement with the PSD candidate, to form team, giving him responsibilities in municipal management, with their monthly salary, full time, so that the county's interests outweigh the political interests”.

António Bota assumes to the citizens that one reason is related to the loss of trust, has to do with the fact that “the person in question has decided to depart from the convergence of our agreement made in 2013, in the interests of our country and Almodovarenses, to integrate a list of candidates PSD together with IPA, movement that included people who did not like himself or agreed”.
It is recalled that for the next local elections 1 October, Antonio Boot, recandidata to the president of the chamber PS,while António Sebastião, PSD is the list head, Ricardo Colaço and the number two on the list, a decision of the Commission of the PSD National Policy, which contradicted the decision of Concelhia of Almodovar of the Social Democrats. No other party or coalition announced nominations to the House of Almodovar.
