A girl of 21 years old is in a very serious condition after being electrocuted on public roads, following the climb to a medium voltage pole on Rua do Barranquinho, in the village of Gomes Aires, in the municipality of Almodovar.
For unknown reasons, the young woman climbed the pole, received an electric shock and fell helplessly to the ground, having suffered several burns and fractures, having been assisted at the scene and transferred to the Santa Maria Hospital, in Lisbon, which is in a state regarded as "very serious".
The alert was given at 6:40 am, but from what it was possible to ascertain the girl who spent her holidays at her grandmother's house, I wouldn't have come home that night, ending up committing the crazy act of climbing onto the electrical installation.
Has learned the Lidador News (LN), the victim was transported to the hospital unit in an ambulance from the AlmodĂ´var Fire Department, accompanied by an emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle (VMER) of Beja and the immediate life support vehicle (SIV) Castro Verde.
