Almodovar: Seven arrested in operation in A2, for drug trafficking.
The GNR arrested today, in flagrante delicto, seven individuals for drug trafficking, in operation performed in the service area A2, in Almodôvar.
Individuals, aged between 31 and 46 year old, They had in their possession 297 hashish doses and were subject to term of identity and residence (TIR).
The road inspection operation of the Territorial Command Beja, decorreu na área de serviço da A2 de Gomes Aires, in the municipality of Almodovar, with a focus on combating drug trafficking, tax and customs legislation, environmental and road.
As part of operation were monitored 179 vehicles, e para além das detenções e apreensão dos estupefacientes, GNR detected 100 road offenses, highlighting-se 29 for speeding and 12 by excess weight in the transport of goods.
