Beja: PAN delegation received with protests.


Upon arrival at the Beja Civil Terminal, the PAN entourage was received with protest, between screams and rattles, amateur gives bullfighting, who are against the measures defended by the party.

Inês Sousa Real, PAN-Party-Animals-Nature spokesperson was received at the door of the Civil Terminal of Beja (TCB) with protests from bullfighting fans, customized by many inmates and ex-forcados of the Grupo de Forcados de Beja.

The demands of the representatives of the Beja Deserves Movement + (MBM+) who delivered a document on the TCB and its valences, were drowned out by the protests of about three dozen added.

Against the positions of Inês Sousa Real and PAN, against bullfighting, fishing and hunting, have been vehemently challenged by advocates of what they say are “the realities of the rural world, in particular in Alentejo”, said António Almodovar.

To journalists, the PAN spokeswoman explained that “we will be very happy to come to this region, but when the animals are free in the lezíria and not to be killed and suffering”, materialized.

Bruno Ferreira, do MBM+, delivered a memorandum to Inês Sousa Real explaining why “of this infrastructure to be used, the Alentejo Railway Line to be electrified and the IP8, be transformed into a real highway”.

After Inês Sousa Real left the place, Miguel Peixe, aficionado, explained to journalists that he was present because “I go to the bullfights and I take my two children. We are the ones who choose what we want to see and eat.”, when questioned since when he followed the bullfights, he joked: “since i wear glasses. As a child, I had a lack of eyesight and I started to wear glasses.”, concluded.
