Beja: Cabinet approves recognition of industrial operations at the airport.
The Council of Ministers approved at the meeting of Thursday desafatação land of BA11 and recognizes the public interest in industrial operation at the airport (Terminal Civil). Beja Chamber welcomes the decision.
It approved a Resolution of the Cabinet making the disaffection of military public domain air base's land Beja, as well as the recognition of public interest from an industrial operation to specified therein.
This decision creates the conditions for the realization of a business investment, no value 35 000 000€, related to the maintenance of aircraft at Beja Airport and will create about 40 direct jobs already 2017.
The Municipality of Beja issued a press release where “welcomes today's decision of the Council of Ministers, to facilitate the installation of the first large company in Beja airport”.
The authority maintains that “after an intense activity on the part of this municipality, which has embarked on various approaches to responsible, requesting intervention and demanding decisions, and with the direct involvement with the AERONEO and the Government, We are pleased to see the efforts bear fruit, together did, thinking in the region, in economic development and job creation”.
Finally the city council justifies Bejense “this is a very important step, if it is associated with the beginning of the release and wrong decisions, taken by successive governments over the years.
