South Directorate of the Judicial Police (PJ) stopped a man, with 35 year old, by strong evidence of the practice of the crime of homicide in the attempted form, occurred in the municipality of Beja, last Sunday.
The suspect allegedly attacked his aunt, in a context of domestic violence.
According to the PJ, in a statement released this Tuesday, the victim, of 34 year old, “was violently attacked in the face and neck, there is even a need for treatment at the Beja hospital”, for futile reasons.
The investigation is led by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Beja and the detainee will be heard this Wednesday in the first judicial interrogation to apply coercive measures deemed appropriate.
