Beja: GNR (hand. of traffic) transports body to hospital Porto.
Military Beja Traffic Detachment of GNR hospital for Porto. The sub-unit has been called to do other transport, but having as destinations hospitals beyond Port, in Lisbon and Coimbra.
In a statement, Territorial Command Beja, conveys that through Beja Traffic Detachment, today, day 22 January, made an urgent transport body, between the Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes in Beja and the Hospital Center and University of Porto.
The body of the transport in question was requested by Harvesting and Transplant Coordination Office, having a patrol initiated displacement by 06:00 hours, making the path urgently always ensuring the safety of other road users.
this mission, by rule, GNR is contacted by the health unit that holds the organ to be transported, and immediately committed a patrol moving to this, carrying the body the required thermal conditions to your destination.
Please note that the quality and safety of organ transplantation depends on the time required for transportation, thus competing for GNR, and in compliance with the safety conditions, reach the destination in the shortest time possible, thereby contributing to saving one more life.
