Anonymous denunciation leads to the arrest by the PJ of the president of an IPSS suspected of the crime against sexual freedom.
Um individual 51 years, chairman of the board of a Private Social Solidarity Institution (IPSS) of Beja was detained last night by inspectors from the Southern Directorate of the Judiciary Police (PJ) and the first interrogation is being presented at the city court.
The Lidador News (LN) ascertained from a PJ source, the individual is suspected of the practice of facts susceptible “to configure the crime against sexual freedomâ€, exercised against a woman of 26 years “with a severe mental handicap, the suspect having taken advantage of the functions he performs in the institution.
In a statement, the PJ reveals that the investigation began “in an anonymous complaint and the set of steps allowed for the collection of relevant evidenceâ€, being present to the competent judicial entity.
Second or statement, “Sexual assaults took place at different times, with the first occurrence in the summer of 2020 â€, adding that they occurred “in a commercial establishment and always on occasions when they were aloneâ€, concretizes the Judiciary Police.
