Falling tree causes damage to home and vehicle. There are no injuries to residents of the house.
The strong wind and rain that arrived in the Beja region, following Storm Karlota, are responsible for the fall of a large tree that fell on a house, the Avenue of Brazil, close to the bus station and the city's sports hall.
Despite the many people living in the house where the tree fell, there are no reports of injuries, with considerable losses to be regretted in a motor vehicle belonging to the owner of the house.
Cerca the 17,30 hours the tree that was located inside the park of Jardim Infantil Nossa Senhora da Conceição, a private educational institution, fell in the opposite direction to the establishment building, which had no students inside as the so-called “Carnival Holidays” began today.
A fire department source revealed that “only after removing the tree, you can see if there is damage to the house”, justified.
On site are the Beja Volunteer Firefighters who are operating with the Escada Vehicle 30 (VE30), which was broken for several months and was recovered after a solidarity campaign, Municipal Civil Protection and PSP.
