GNR soldiers this Wednesday arrested five individuals belonging to a gang responsible for a wave of thefts and robberies and considered “very dangerous”.
Lidador Notícias found that the arrest took place in the Castro Verde area, in full National Road 2, on the link to Rosario, municipality of Almodovar, the road having been closed so that the group had no possibility of escape.
Several aspects of Beja Territorial Command were used in the group's arrest operation (CTBeja) da GNR, after a thorough investigation and follow-up of the suspects. The gang was traveling in a car together in a light vehicle and will come from the Algarve,
The suspects are being held at the CTBeja facilities where they are being interrogated, due to be present during the day of tomorrow, to a Criminal Instruction Judge (JIC) for the application of the relevant coercive measures.
