COVID-19: Group of farm workers come from Serpa infected in Tavira.


Six farm workers in a group of 26 Indian and Nepalese nationality, native of Serpa, currently living in Tavira, They are infected with 19-Covid.

According advances the online edition of the Journal News (JN), six men, They are living in Tavira, tested positive for the new coronavirus. One is admitted to the Hospital of Faro. The remaining are being routed, this Saturday, to Fair Park and Tavira Exhibition.

The men are part of a group of workers – 24 Indian nationals and two Nepalese origin – native of Serpa, Alentejo, to labor in Tavira, but they had not yet started the activity. They were placed residing, all together, a former shipyard.

On 1, a worker collapsed and was hospitalized, having been confirmed infection Covid-19. then, the remaining were quarantined, and the positive results now confirmed for another five.
