(Last hour) COVID-19: Numbers from Alentejo are a true “miracle of roses”.
District health officials did not appear in the District Operational Coordinating Center's daily brifing (CCOD). DGS report maintains the same 155 yesterday's cases in Alentejo. Almodôvar appears on the list for the first time with three cases.
There are twelve municipalities in the Alentejo that appear on the DGS list today with three or more positive cases, in total 113 of 155 infetados, Almodôvar appears for the first time, with three infected.
From yesterday to today DGS says that there is one more case in Beja, are now 9, number that has been known since Sunday. Also in Serpa there is one more infected, being now 18 not complete.
The Lidador News (LN) found that district health officials did not appear in the CCOD daily brifing, the actual data of the district of Beja is not known.
There are two new “camouflaged” cases in the municipality of Beja.
In the municipality of Beja are given as confirmed 9 cases, but LN knows that there are two more positive cases in an institution, but that "have not yet been officially revealed".
Regarding positive cases in the district of Beja, at yesterday's CCOD brifing, was revealed, without revealing numbers by county, the existence of eighty (80) positive cases, wherein 77 concerned the municipalities that are within the area of influence of ULSBA and CIMBAL and 3 in the area of Unit Alentejo Litoral Local Health (ULSAL) and Community Intermunicipal Alentejo Litoral (Cimal) specifically the county of Odemira. Still no known cases are the municipalities of Alvito, Canyons, Ourique and Vidigueira.
Two more cases in the Roma community
According to LN, this is a couple in Alqueva, but that in the last weeks they will have walked around Moura and Póvoa de São Miguel. These two new cases should be counted in the municipality of Portel. These cases join the 32 registered in the Espadanal, Moura.
DGS report this Wednesday
This Wednesday's report from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), reveals that there 155 no cases Alentejo (ON HERE), the same as yesterday, thus distributed by the municipality: Moura-27, Évora-21, Serpa-18, Santiago do Cacém-11, Beja-9, Reguengos de Monsaraz-8, Grândola-7, Alcácer do Sal-5, Sines-4, Elvas-4, Portalegre-3 and Almodôvar-3, in total 113 of the cases in 12 of 47 municipalities of the region.
