Covid-19: Forbidden to circulate between municipalities next weekend.


The municipalities of Barrancos, Ferreira do Alentejo and Odemira are out of curfew at the weekend starting at 13 hours extended to almost the whole country. Cuba, Mértola and Vidigueira are extremely high-risk municipalities.

During the next weekend, the ban on movement between municipalities and the ban on staying on public roads after 13 hours will be extended to virtually the entire country – only 25 counties are left out.

The measure was just announced by the Prime Minister, António Costa, following the Council of Ministers this afternoon.

Only 25 counties haveless than 240 new cases per hundred thousand inhabitants, staying out of the weekend bans:

Alcoutim, Aljezur, Almeida, Arronches, Canyons, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Castanheira de Pera, Castelo de Vide, Coruche, Ferreira do Alentejo, Freixo de Espada a Cinta, Pond, Manteigas, Monchique, Odemira, Pampilhosa da Serra, Proenca-a-Nova, Resende, Santiago do Cacém, Sardoal, Sernancelhe, Sines, Torre de Moncorvo, Vila de Rei and Vila do Bispo.
