A woman 40 years was detained by the PJ on suspicion of several crimes of sexual abuse of children, in Cuba municipality.
The abuses had the participation of the partner and were committed on the couple's own children: a six year old boy and a one year old girl.
The investigation made it possible to collect several elements indicative of abusive sexual practices, that relied on the intervention of the children's partner and father, a man of 56 years, under house arrest on suspicion of crimes of common danger.
According to a statement from the PJ, “sexual assaults always took place in an environment totally controlled by the detainee and her partner, family home, and always on occasions when they were alone”. They occurred in different periods and in a number not yet concretely determined..
The woman, of 40 year old, was held yesterday by the Southern Board of the PJ. It is strongly indicted for the practice of several crimes of aggravated child sexual abuse. It will be presented this Thursday to the competent Judicial Authorities for judicial interrogation and application of the coercive measures considered appropriate..
The Inquiry is directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office, Cuban Criminal Investigation and Action Department.
