Ferreira do Alentejo: Worker dies hit by excavator at work of IP8.
A man died, Thursday morning, in a work accident in the works of IP8, in Ferreira do Alentejo.
The victim, of 54 year old, It was hit by a retro-excavator and died at the scene, Figueira Knights, Ferreira do Alentejo county.
The fatal accident occurred at about 10 am. And the JN found, the shunter Retro excavator did not see the victim and hit the dead man.
The death was confirmed on site by the doctors of the Medical Car Emergency and Resuscitation (VMER) do hospital de Beja.
Ferreira do Alentejo the Fire Department were also on site, with three cars and five operational and proceeded to survey the body, just before 11.30 hours.
