There is an outbreak of covid-19 in the home of the Moreanes Support Center for the Elderly (CAIN), municipality of Mértola, with 8 positive cases, 7 users and 1 employee, entre as 60 people that the institution has.
The situation in the Residential Structure for the Elderly (ERPI) already communicated to users' family members the, the institution having posted the information on the facebook page, as a way of clarifying and alerting the population of the village located on the Left Bank of the Guadiana River.
The management of CAIM regretted the occurrence of infection by the SARS-COV2 virus which occurs “after almost a year of daily struggle and less than a week before users and employees are vaccinated with the second dose of the vaccine”, that is scheduled for next Wednesday, day 3 Feb..
The first 1st phase of vaccination against covid-19, the total population of users and employees of the Moreanes Support Center for the Elderly occurred last day 13 January and was received as “great expectation, enthusiasms and hope ”, but that later turned out to be “a nightmare”.
