Two arrested for issuing false prescriptions. The first interrogation at the Court of Ourique will be present today.
The Judicial Police (PJ) stopped, on Wednesday, two people for fraud and forgery or forgery of document (fake recipes) to receive high contributions from the National Health Service.
In a statement released this Thursday, the PJ refers that the operation, carried out through the Directorate of the South, in an inquiry supervised by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the General Court of Ourique, and with the collaboration of Infarmed, was carried out in the Alentejo region, watching five pagers (home and non home).
“Investigate, within the scope of this investigation, facts likely to substantiate the practice by the detainees of the crimes of qualified fraud and falsification or counterfeiting of documents with a view to obtaining the receipt of high co-payments, undue, by the National Health Service, by issuing fraudulent medical prescriptions”, you can read the statement.
Detainees must be heard, Thursday, in the first judicial interrogation for the application of the coercive measures considered appropriate.
