a road collision, Thursday afternoon, caused a fatality in IC1, Santana da Serra, in Ourique.
The accident, whose warning was given by the 18.50 hours, involved a motorcycle, two trucks and a freight van, causing the death of the motorcyclist and injuring seven other people, that are under evaluation on site.
The accident occurred at kilometer 681.9 do IC1, the Wolf Portela Zone (critical location where accidents are common), in Santana da Serra parish, municipality of Ourique.
The IC1 was stopped for traffic.
For the site were mobilized 24 operational and 11 Ourique and GNR Volunteer Firefighters vehicles. The INEM helicopter from Hospital do Algarve was also activated., based in Loulé.
