“A fight against the clock†is with a GNR source described the situation in Monte do Peixe, Santana da Serra, municipality of Ourique, where the police force seeks to locate an octogenarian who fired shots at his son-in-law and after barricading left the house and is partly uncertain.
For reasons yet to be determined, but apparently due to family disagreements, the man 86 years soared, this monday night, against the familiar, not having reached it. The alert for the incident was given around 19,30 hours, other means have been mobilized to the site, that ended up being deactivated.
The Republican National Guard has several means on the ground, including large area search binomials, looking to locate the octogenarian, who will be unarmed and in uncertain part. The main priority for Guarda “is to locate the octogenarian alive and only then find out what was at the origin of the disagreementâ€, justified the source.
After the shooting and when the authorities were called, the suspect shut himself up at home., eventually managing to abandon it without leaving a trace, leaving behind the gun with which he shot.
Although at stake may be an attempted murder, the GNR is handling the situation with all care and trying to reach the octogenarian with this one alive.
