President da República: Marcelo promulgates State Budget 2017.
The President announced, Wednesday, that promulgated the State Budget 2017. The document, justified, complies with European rules and ensure “policy and financial stability” from the country.
Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, according to the Journal News (JN), even did not need 24 hours to promulgate the State Budget 2017 (OE2917). He explained why.
“I followed closely the parliamentary debates, analyzed the version voted on final overall vote, and the final draft, over the past weeks. This allowed me, soon after receiving the decree of Parliament, be in a position to promulgate”.
The document ensures “financial and political stability” claiming to be “essential” for to “banking system consolidation”. On the other hand, It foresees a budget implementation 2016 and a deficit forecast 2017 (1,6% stir START) which were accepted by the European Union, reflecting a “concern with the financial rigor”.

At the end of the statement, had simultaneous translation into sign language, the head of state made a year's ending balance now, considering it was “characterized by a search for serenity, dialog, appeasement”, what is “fundamental for the construction of financial rigor, but also fundamental to social stability, without which there is no budgetary stability or political stability”.
