The man who was injured following an explosion in a house in Vila Nova de Milfontes has died, in Odemira (Beja), last day 26 June, and in which his wife and daughter also died.
The Lidador News (LN) confirmed with hospital source, the death of José Coelho, of 54 year old, who was admitted to the University Hospital Center of Coimbra.
The son, of 13 year old, is now the only survivor of the incident and is admitted to Hospital Dona Estefânia, in Lisbon.
On the day of the explosion, HĂ©lia Santos died, the mother, of 48 year old, and LuĂsa Coelho, the daughter, of 9 year old, whose funerals took place on Saturday at the Galeado Cemetery, in Vila Nova de Milfontes.
The Judicial Police (PJ) is investigating the origin of the explosion, but, the day after the explosion, LN revealed that it had been caused by a gas leak in an annex where there were acetylene bottles, which took place last Wednesday, around 8:30 am, in Brunheiras, Vila Nova de Milfontes parish (Odemira), was heard more than 20 kilometers from the town.
