Vidigueira: Adega Cooperativa launches “VDG”, the first sparkling.
The Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito (ACV) has just launched on the market its first sparkling wine, product increasingly demanded by the consumer.
The sparkling wine produced in vidigueirense winery is called “VDG” and was born, according to the president of ACV, to “follow market trends, since globally and national, sparkling wines are very cherished”.
“We think that in our case, the excellence of our white grapes, namely Antao Vaz, He advised us to give this step”, underlines the “Mail Alentejo”, José Miguel D'Almeida.
The new “VDG”, having cost 5,99 euros per bottle, It was espumantizado in Caves Mountain, Bairrada, one of the regions of Portugal with, most experienced in the manufacture or preparation of this kind of wines. They are present in 5.000 bottles produced traditional varieties of Vidigueira, namely Antao Vaz.
