In Vila de Frades, county Vidigueira, in what is known as the “Wine Capital of Talha”, on São Martinho weekend and during the next few days, new wine flows through the gigantic pots of traditional wine cellars.
On Saint Martin's Day, in a dozen cellars, the “Simultaneous Opening of Talhas” took place, a high point of celebration, with producers offering a taste of the best carved wine made in the region.
