Tourist entertainment, nautical activities, gastronomy, handicraft, living together, music and animation are the strong points of FEITUR – SW Tourism Fair, which will take place between the days 13 and 16 June, next to the Mira River Estuary, in Vila Nova de Milfontes.
FEITUR is committed to promoting the municipality of Odemira and Southwest Alentejo as a destination of choice for tourism and sports in nature. The initiative is promoted in partnership between the Municipality of Odemira and the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo, Vila Nova de Milfontes Parish Council, Odemira Nautical Station, Association White Houses, Rota Vicentina Association and Artisans Association of the Municipality of Odemira – CACO.
The event has the presence of accommodation units and tourist entertainment companies, restaurants, exhibition of agri-food products, local crafts, gastronomic tastings and lots of entertainment.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the best that the municipality of Odemira has to offer, with free activities that will allow contact with different modalities, like diving, stand up paddle, surfing or boating on the Mira River, canoeing or beach handball. One of the highlights of FEITUR is the gastronomic component that will be highlighted in the Showcooking Space, with various showcookings and presentations.
It will be four intense days, with free entries, at times from 6 p.m. (Thursday), 14h00 (Friday) and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with lots of entertainment guaranteed.
