To celebrate the traditional magusto, the Parish Council of the Union of Parishes of Beja (Salvador and Feira), offered chestnuts to some institutions in the Parish and also held a Senior Magusto, on the school premises in Bairro da Conceição, last Friday, day 8 November.

Beja: Young people from Casa Pia, tried for robbery and aggravated robbery
Two young, P.V e M.V., of 17 and 18 year old, respectively, institutionalized at Casa Pia de Beja, were accused and will be tried by a Panel of Judges in the city court, for the crimes of robbery and qualified theft. The youngest defendant, is in pre-trial detention at the Leiria Jovens Prison.
